The Video Guys – the Movie
The Video Guys may be the best indie romantic comedy of the year! If it’s at a festival near you, then run there and get your tickets now… don’t wait… it’s that damn good.
- Brian Morton, Rogue Cinema
…and I agree. Great comedy. No more comments. Need to see it. http://www.videoguysthemovie.com
Three days workshops last week in Austin, Texas was an amazing and inspirational experience. Very intense, with tons of new information. Also had a chance to spent time with my fellow videographers from Long Island and from around the country. Definitely coming back next year.
I hope this little clip will show “in focus” three days of In[Focus] 2010. Captured by Harinezumi, a small digital video camera that produces great imitation of nostalgic Super 8mm film cameras. I hope you will enjoyed it.
Please help Feed The Children to rush emergency aid to earthquake victims in Haiti. Your gift helps children and families recover from the devastation caused by these natural disasters. Even a small donation can make a big difference. For more information about Feed the Children and to make a donation please go to http://www.feedthechildren.org.
“Even before last week’s magnitude-7.0 earthquake, Haiti, one of the world’s poorest countries, was awash in orphans, with 380,000 children living in orphanages or group homes, the United Nations Children’s Fund reported on its Web site. Now, tens of thousands of children likely have been orphaned by the earthquake, aid groups say — so many that officials won’t venture a number”
- The Seattle Times
“Nearly half of Haiti’s population is younger than 18 years old. Even in better times, many of this country’s youth are in desperate need of aid. But in the aftermath of the earthquake, officials fear thousands of children have been separated from their parents.”
- The Washington Post
The sufferings of the Haitian people, especially children of this country, are breaking our hearts. Orange Films will donate $150.00 for every event, every project booked between January 25, 2010 and February 28, 2010 to Feed The Children, an organization with a 30-years history dedicated to helping hungry and hurting people around the world.
Jan. 3-5, 2010 – The Mystic 5 Photography Workshops
Few days ago I came back from 3 days photography workshops in Mystic, Connecticut. It was an amazing, inspirational experience. From 8.00 am to midnight – very intense 3 days , but the lessons learned are priceless. With many photographers attending the workshop I had a pleasure to work in the past, some came from different parts of the United States and around the world. We had amazing presenters, whose work I admire and was looking forward to meet them in person: Jason Groupp, Jerry Ghionis, Mike Fulton & Cody Clinton, Dave & Quin Cheung, George Weir and John Michael Cooper, to name just few.
Photography was always a great source of inspiration for me. I came back from Mystic with a lot of new and fresh ideas and I am looking forward to take my film work to a new artistic level.
